How to improve Back hand Skill in Badminton?

Skybadminton

Back hand is the basic skill that makes a good player actually. Fore hand is not a big deal as Human Being has naturally got a power on their handedness. This can manage your fore hand skills during a game but when its  back hand you need technical muscular power to oppose the short using your Tri-ceps,Trapigius(Back Muscle) and Deltoid muscles. Each movement of our body is combination of muscles tension, extension, relaxation. So it depends on your body fixing up during hitting the shuttle.

Think up a while, when a fore hand short is played, it creates a large angle with your body trunk and the hand gets enough room to create force forward to hit the shuttle. This force is generated by your hand-trunk angle with forced muscular action. But during back hand the angle is normally shorter and you need technical movement of your trunk to get the angle larger. thats why Back hand is always difficult for non-professional players who don't have enough train in it. But regular practice can make one's back hand pretty well by 1-3 months.

As example lets talk about Taufiq Hidayat (Indonesia). He got the finest back hand capability by my sense. Excellent combination of  body and limbs generate the power for him.

Here you see a video that can improve your backhand skills a bit ....
