Yonex Bulgarian International gets underway

Today the qualifications at the Yonex Bulgarian International have started in Sofia. The Badminton Europe International Challenge tournament is offering the participants 15.000$ in prize money. In spite of the fact the top seeded Joachim Persson of Denmark has been taken off the list because of an injury, there are many top class player competing in the Bulgarian capital. Now Dutch Eric Pang, seeded as No. 2 and Przemyslaw Wacha [3] of Poland are the favourites to reach the final spot. U19 World Champion Viktor Axelsen (Denmark) has to go through the qualification first.
